Welcome to the Gifted Education START Program for Triangle Elementary School!  

My name is Diane Becker and I am the START Resource teacher for Triangle, River Oaks, Mary Williams and Occoquan Elementary Schools. I grew up in Prince William County, have attended Occoquan and Potomac View Elementary Schools, Rippon Middle School and Garfield High School.  I went to college at Radford University and George Mason University where I earned a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education and a Gifted Education endorsement.
I have taught for Prince William County Schools for fifteen years. Prior to my teaching career, I owned and operated a gymnastics training facility in Manassas Va.  
In my free time I enjoy playing with my three grandsons, Will, Lucas and Ethan. I also enjoy working in my gardens and landscaping my yard. My favorite pet is my dog Shiloh.
